Message from the Patron

Albert Einstein said “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”.

We at Asha School Pathankot, provide a happy and accepting atmosphere to our children which enables each child to develop her/his inherent ability and blossom in her/his own unique way. Each child of ours is an individual and we strive to give her/him the confidence to go out into the world as one and conquer it.

The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away. We try to ignite this passion in the spirit of our children by giving them the right environment, nurturing and care. We believe that through loving care and right training any disabled child can be rehabilitated in the mainstream society.

We have also launched a campaign on the society at large to shatter ancient, debilitating and discriminating myths related to disability. We believe Robert M Hansel’s words, “There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more”.
